Blue Mountain Pottery was a Canadian pottery company headquartered in Collingwood, Ontario. It was founded in 1953 by Dennis Tupa and Jozo Weider (born 1908 in Žilina, Czechoslovakia) and closed in 2004. Initially, it was involved in the production of hand-painted ski motifs on purchased patterns, and the production of red clay products began in 1953-1954. Subsequently, various types of pottery were produced, from animal figurines to jugs, pots, and vases. The company's products enjoy a large fan base and are collected all over the world. Blue Mountain ceramics feature a unique, proprietary glazing process known as ''melt-in-the-melt decorating''. Two different liquid glazes were  used, one light and one dark. During the firing process, the enamel will run off to create streak patterns unique to each piece. Blue Mountain ceramics were available in traditional shades of green, but also in gold, cobalt, mocha, pewter, red, brown and white.
